Who we are

The Duncan Soup Project is a heartfelt nonprofit effort offering homemade chicken noodle soup to those facing life’s hard moments — whether recovering from illness or surgery, coping with grief, or just feeling down.

This project was created in honor of our dear friend David Duncan, who continues to bravely battle stage four cancer with strength, faith, and resilience. David’s courage inspires us daily, and we carry forward his spirit of compassion and hope through every bowl of soup we share.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple: to remind people they are not alone. A warm meal can bring comfort, connection, and a moment of peace. Whether someone is just out of the hospital, in rehab, grieving a loss, or going through a rough patch — we are here to show them that someone cares.

We are powered by love, community, and the belief that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Our partners

We are taking our mission to the next level by teaming up with the Amarillo United Methodist Church. With others on our team, we will be able to bless many others with your support.

How it works

Request or Nominate

Know someone who could use a little TLC? Fill out a quick form to request soup for yourself or nominate a friend, neighbor, or family member. You’ll share basic info like their name, delivery address, and any food allergies.

We Cook on Tuesdays

Each Tuesday morning, we prepare a big batch of homemade chicken noodle soup in a clean kitchen, with love in every pot. We label containers, include reheating instructions, and pack them with care.

No Cost, Just Kindness

The Duncan Soup Project is 100% donation-powered and always free. If you’d like to support the effort, you can donate toward ingredients or sign up to help us cook, pack, or deliver.

Help Us Stir Up Hope

Every pot of soup is powered by the kindness of friends like you. 100% of your donation goes to ingredients and supplies—so every dollar becomes a bowl of comfort.
